Malaysia is one of Asia's biggest employers of foreign labour. But recently, cases of deaths, abuse and forced labour have come to light. What is going on? Who is protecting these migrant workers?

MTUC Johor Division organised a 2 day seminar at Tropical Inn Johor Bahru from 2nd October to 3rd October 2018.

The 2 day seminar was an eye opener to all the participants from various unions in Johor.

Topics covered are Road Safety, HIRARC, SOCSO , Sections and Regulations of the OHS Act, Hazard Controls , Functions of the ILO and others.

Basing on the feedback from the participants, it was a very successful event and the participants are looking forward for more activities organised by the division.
