Deepavali falls on 6‘h November 2018 and is celebrated by people of the Hindu faith all over the world. Deepavali symbolizes the spiritual \/ictory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
In Malaysia, just like other similar festivals, Deepavali is
celebrated in true Malaysian tradition and culture for peace, harmony and well — being of a united Malaysia.
MTUC is pleased to inform you that we will be organising a Deepavali Open House as follows:
Date :25″ November 2018 (Sunday)
Time : 11.00am to 4.00 pm
Venue : Wisma MTUC 7’h Floor, Subang Jaya.
All General Council members, affiliates and their families are cordially invited to attend the celebration.
If you wish to donate any food or cash in kind it will be warmly welcomed.
We are expecting an estimated crowd of 300 guests.
