1st Quarterly Stakeholders Meeting On Labour Migration, Trafficking In Persons & Forced Labour
The International Labour Organization (ILO) had organize the 1st Quarterly Stakeholders Meeting at Wisma MTUC today.
The ILO’s Improved Migration Governance (IMG) Project will be supporting quarterly meetings among stakeholders working on labour migration, trafficiking in persons and forced labour issues. This platform is intended to provide a space that stakeholders could use to :
🔹Strengthen common advocacies, align strategies, maximize resources and work towards more sustainable impact.
🔹Raise awareness about relevant initiatives and stay up to date on existing programmes and services
🔹Coordinate efforts,forge joint strategic priorities and identify arears for collaboration
🔹Consult stakeholders on plans strategies and validate outputs.
Bro K. Soma, had delivered the opening speech on behalf of our MTUC Secretary General, Bro J Solomon.
