Malaysia is one of Asia's biggest employers of foreign labour. But recently, cases of deaths, abuse and forced labour have come to light. What is going on? Who is protecting these migrant workers?
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he was shocked and saddened by the attack outside Britain’s Parliament yesterday.
He said ‘Malaysia stands with the United Kingdom’ over the incident which left about 10 people injured including a policeman.
“My thoughts & prayers with innocents affected. Malaysia stands with UK. Must never surrender to terrorism,” he said on his Twitter account, today.
The foreign media reported that a policeman was stabbed and that the attackers shot several members of the public in what has been described as a terror attack.
British Prime Minister Theresa May, who was present in the Parliament Building as the British Parliament was in session, was reported to be safe.
