Personnels of MTUC OSH Project

The MTUC OSH department was established on 28th March 2001. This department has been formed to carry out an Occupational Safety and Health project mainly in the electronic and construction industries. Four personnel were appointed and they are Jesper, an expert from Denmark as a Chief Technical Advisor, K.Nadasapillay as a Head of department, Prema Arasan as a Resource Officer and M.Indumathi as an Administration Staff. Below are our personnel involved in MTUC OSH project.

Job Description	: Training, Project Coordination, Reporting and Administration (including finance)

Name	: Jesper Christensen
Designation	: Chief Technical Advisor
Job Description	: Responsible for the overall day-to day operations and supervision of the project covering both the electronics and construction industries.

Name	: Prema Arasan
Designation	: Resource Officer
Job Description	: Responsible for developing and preparing OSH resources for the project.

Name	: M.Indumathi
Designation	: Administrative Assistant
Job Description	: Responsible for administrative and accounting for the project.

Designation	: Part time Local Area Project Coordinator (Secretary General of Johore Textile&Garment Workers Union )
Job Description	: Organize and Coordinate the activities of the Core-Group.

PENANG

Designation	: Part time Local Area Project Coordinator (Vice President of Penang and Province Wellesley Textile & Garment Workers Union)
Job Description	: Organize and Coordinate the activities of the Core-Group.

Job Description	: Be responsible for organizing, planning and implementation of all activities in construction part.

Job Description	: Coordination and implementation of OSH awareness raising strategy in three phases.

Designation	: Administration Officer
Job Description	: Responsible for all project account, financial reports and administration details of training courses and campaigns.

Job Description	: Assist the Education Officer in Coordinating and implementing of OSH awareness raising strategy in three phases.
