4 stars - by North-of-the-55th CARLOSAMA, Written on 2021-11-12 So I took the time to completely remove the coating, 1/3cup vinegar and fill 3/4 with water boil for about 20 minutes completely removed everything to bare metal, I then began my seasoning procedure for cast iron and it now has a beautiful layer of seasoning and is quite non stick, it heats beautifully, and sits flat on my stove. Like a few other reviewers I've been trying to wrestle my gut into shape with belts for the last fifty-some years but an article suggested that braces were the way to go.
