48 hour water cut in Klang, Shah Alam and Petaling

SHAH ALAM: Consumers in the Klang, Shah Alam and Petaling have been advised to prepare for a 48-hour water cut from 10pm tonight.
This is to allow repair works on a burst main pipe in Section 21,here, to take place.
In a statement today, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said repair works are currently being expedited.
The water supply will be restored in stages upon completion.
Some 75 areas in Klang, Shah Alam and Petaling will be affected by the disruption.

Supply is expected to be fully restored in 72 hours.
In Section 26, businessman Shahrolnizam Yahya said he immediately took steps to store water after reading the announcement from Air Selangor on social media earlier.
The 47-year-old said the water disruption would put a damper on his new restaurant, which will be launched tomorrow.
“I have stored water and will be buying canned beverages and mineral water bottles for my guests tomorrow. I have also asked my caterer to provide disposable wares.
“I hope water supply can be restored sooner than the 48-hours Air Selangor had announced,” he said.
Air Selangor advised consumers to store sufficient water before the repair works begin.
The request for water tankers can be made by sending an SMS (tanker name address) to 15300.
