The report said the victims were about to apply anti-rust paint and thinner
when the tank exploded at 6.30pm.
<p>Witnesses said the impact of the explosion flung the head of one of the victims
some 80 feet into the air.</p>
<p>Through their passports, District Crime Officer Deputy Supt Foo Kant Bong was
able identify the victims Julasri Sari, 19, Al-Masir Sanaji, 18, and Nasar Nusal,also
18. All were Sandakan contract workers attached to a Japanese-owned company.</p>
<p>The victims’ bodies are in the district hospital there while an investigation
into the incident is being conducted. –GMANews.TV</p>
